Your personal data at Blitzbet

Personal data reaches us when a person visits the site, registers an account, uses the casino or the sportsbook, or contacts our team. We process it for members in the United Kingdom in line with the principles of data protection law in force there. Effective from 8 October 2026.
1. Who decides how data is used
1.1 Our role
Blitzbet decides why and how the personal data of its members is used in connection with the casino and the sportsbook. In data protection terms we act as the controller of that data.
1.2 Service providers
Some tasks are carried out for us by other organisations, such as payment processing and the delivery of game content. These organisations use the data only for the task we assign, except where they are themselves controllers of the data they receive, as payment providers are for their own regulatory duties.
2. Data we collect
2.1 Data given at registration
At registration we collect an email address and a password, the account currency, the full name, country, city and address, the date of birth and a phone number.
2.2 Verification data
Before the first withdrawal we ask for a government-issued photo ID, proof of address and confirmation that the payment method belongs to the account holder. These documents are used only for verification.
2.3 Transaction and play data
We record deposits, withdrawals, bets, game rounds, bonus activations and account settings, because the account cannot operate without them.
2.4 Technical data
When the site is used we receive technical information such as the device type, the browser, the IP address and the pages requested, which is needed to deliver the site on desktop and in a mobile browser.
2.5 Payment details
When a member pays, the payment provider handles the card, wallet or bank details. What reaches our records is the confirmation of the transaction, the method used and the amount.
2.6 Communications
Messages sent through chat or to [email protected], and our replies, are kept with the account record.
3. Why we use data and on what basis
3.1 Purposes
| Purpose | Data used | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Opening and running the account | Registration and transaction data | Performance of the contract |
| Verifying identity and age | Registration and verification data | Legal obligation and legitimate interests |
| Processing deposits and withdrawals | Transaction data, payment method details | Performance of the contract |
| Preventing fraud and abuse | Technical, transaction and verification data | Legitimate interests and legal obligation |
| Answering enquiries | Communications and account data | Performance of the contract |
| Marketing messages | Email address | Consent |
3.2 Consent
Where we rely on consent, a member can withdraw it at any time, and withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier use. Marketing messages are sent only to members who have agreed to receive them.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
4.1 What the site uses
The site uses cookies and similar technologies that keep a session open, remember settings such as language, and help us understand how the site is used.
4.2 Categories
| Category | Purpose | Can it be refused |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Session, login, cashier | No, because the site cannot work without it |
| Preference | Language and display settings | Yes |
| Analytics | Measuring how the site is used | Yes |
4.3 Choices
Members can control cookies in their browser settings. Blocking the cookies needed for a session can stop login and the cashier from working.
5. Who receives data
5.1 Recipients
Data is shared with payment providers to process transactions, with game studios and platform providers to the extent needed to deliver games, with identity verification support, and with professional advisers.
5.2 Authorities
We disclose data to a public authority where the law requires it or where it is needed to prevent crime.
5.3 Duties of recipients
A recipient receives only the data needed for its task and handles it under the legal duties that apply to it.
6. How long we keep data
6.1 General rule
We keep personal data for as long as the account is open and for the period afterwards that is needed to meet legal duties, resolve complaints and defend legal claims.
6.2 Deletion
When no purpose remains, data is deleted or anonymised.
7. Security
7.1 Technical measures
Connections between the member’s device and the site are encrypted, and access to member data inside our organisation is limited to those who need it for their work.
7.2 Member responsibility
A member keeps the password confidential and uses a password that is not used elsewhere. A suspected unauthorised login is reported to our team without delay.
7.3 Incidents
If a breach of personal data creates a risk for members, we assess it, notify the supervisory authority where the law requires and inform the members concerned.
8. Transfers outside the United Kingdom
8.1 When transfers occur
Service providers may be located outside the United Kingdom, so some personal data may be transferred abroad.
8.2 Safeguards
Where a transfer takes place, we require an appropriate safeguard under data protection law, such as standard contractual clauses or a recognised adequacy arrangement.
9. Rights of members
9.1 The rights
A member may ask for access to their data, for correction of inaccurate data, for erasure, for restriction of use, for a portable copy and to object to use based on legitimate interests.
9.2 How to exercise them
A request is sent to [email protected] from the email address of the account. We may ask for proof of identity before acting, and some data must be kept because the law requires it.
9.3 Complaints
A member who is dissatisfied with our answer may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the data protection authority of the United Kingdom.
10. Minors
10.1 Age limit
The service is for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from persons under that age.
10.2 Action on discovery
If we learn that an account belongs to a person under 18, we close it and handle the related data under section 6.
11. Changes to this policy
11.1 Updates
We revise this policy when our use of data changes. The effective date is stated in the introduction.
11.2 Significant changes
Where a change significantly affects members, we inform them by email or in the account.
12. Contacting us about privacy
12.1 Privacy questions
Questions about this policy are sent to [email protected].
12.2 Chat
Chat is available for questions that do not involve documents.
